Join our Engineering Department and play an active role in optimizing our manufacturing facilities. Reporting to the Methods & Process Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of our manufacturing procedures and will actively participate in our problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
Your responsibilities:
Based on the needs of the Sales, Quality, and Production departments, you will be responsible for:
- Update the technical database in our ERP system
- Correct inconsistencies in documentation (operating procedures, product codes, packaging, etc.)
- Create manufacturing bills of materials while taking our technical constraints into account
- Suggest improvements to reduce "technical failures"
- Respond to feasibility requests in collaboration with development engineers
- Responding to requests for quotes based on the industrial cost price
- Provide technical advice to Production and the Quality Department
- Leverage our "expertise" by using LEAN tools (QQOQCCP and the 5 Whys)
- Conduct on-site investigations to analyze and understand the challenges faced by production operators.
- Create "Who Does What" flowcharts and logic diagrams to simplify our procedures
- Consult with suppliers regarding outsourcing operations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Supply Chain department in the event of a manufacturing issue.
Computer tools:
- Excel - PPT - Word
- BI-style data analysis
- Seamless integration with the ERP system.
PROFILE
- BTS degree or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience in an industrial setting
- Occasional English (Analysis of Customer Requests—Emails & Documents)
- Knowledge of SOLIDWORKS would be a plus
- Strong safety culture, team spirit, and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, curious, thorough, and focused on continuous improvement
- You are in touch with the field and know how to listen to and take into account the needs of the operators.
