Scheduling and Shipping Manager

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager for France, our future Scheduling and Planning Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the site's workload matches its capacity, organizing short- and medium-term planning with production, subcontractors, and carriers, and ensuring that shipments are made on time. Managing the Planning, Scheduling, and Shipping teams, our future manager will also participate in continuous improvement projects and action plans.

MISSIONS

  • Improvement meetings with the team and other departments Analyze customer needs, production capacity, material availability, and transportation plans in order to smooth and optimize internal and external flows and ensure customer service levels
  • Define the weekly Production Master Plan in collaboration with production, sales, and procurement.
  • Communicate the implementation of the final plan to the team in order to ensure that commitments are met.
  • Identify bottlenecks or risky products with the team and resolve them if necessary with other departments; address critical issues and alert management.
  • Follow up with strategic clients
  • Manage multimodal transport (road, sea, air) with your team
  • Use and adapt tools (BI, Excel, etc.) to synthesize information and build working materials or decision-making aids.
  • Back up the team with planning and scheduling tasks as needed, as well as the France Supply Chain Manager (workload meetings, team leadership, etc.)
  • Leading or participating in projects to improve the site's supply chain
  • Definition, monitoring of indicators related to the scope, and coordination

TRAINING / SKILLS

  • Minimum of three years of higher education; you have at least five years of experience in a similar position in an industrial environment.
  • Management experience desired
  • Knowledge of MRP, PIC, PDP, and logistics tools
  • Proficiency in Excel and ideally BI tools
  • Knowledge of transportation and customs documentation
  • Professional English
