Reporting to the Tooling Shop Manager, we are looking for a Polishing Toolmaker (M/F).
The job involves polishing, inspecting, and maintaining hot-extrusion dies.
The tasks are as follows:
- Make the feeders available to the presses
- Clean hot extrusion dies (press and forming)
- Perform visual inspections of the production lines and camera inspections as requested
- Collect the spools that need to be cleaned and put away the spools that have been maintained
- Enter production line reports into the computer system and create item records in GPIC
- Using the laser engraving machine (selecting a program, adjusting the position of the engravings)
Work schedule: 2×8
PROFILE
- Knowledge of the tools and products used for cleaning
- Knowledge of the various polishing processes, their sequence, and the associated techniques, products, and tools
- Knowledge of pipe line inspection techniques (visual inspection and camera-based profile inspection)
- Knowledge of IT tools (GPIC, Excel files, QUALNET, inspection cameras)
- Knowledge of the die manufacturing process
- Independent operation of the laser engraving machine (selecting the program, adjusting the position of the engravings)
