As part of a permanent contract and reporting to the Maintenance Manager, our future Automation Technician will be responsible for maintaining automation systems in working order, carrying out minor programming modifications required for reliability upgrades, and leading modernization projects linked to equipment obsolescence.
Missions
- Carry out curative and preventive maintenance on electronic control equipment (automation) for production machines.
- Provide technical support for troubleshooting involving automated systems
- Carry out minor modifications to programs & GUIs as part of reliability projects
- Enter work into the CMMS to ensure follow-up and statistical analysis of work carried out, with a view to improving reliability.
- Supervise outside contributors if necessary
- Issue spare parts from stock
- Carry out machine functional analyses
- Obsolescence and standardization:
- Act as a point of reference for obsolescence treatment projects
- Define and enforce company material standards
- Take action to reduce the number of hardware & software references used internally
- Technology watch
- Manage modernization projects to deal with the obsolescence of electronic equipment, and play an active role in the MES implementation project.
- Promote a culture of curiosity, responsiveness and rigor within the sales team

Diploma
- 3-year degree in automation
SKILLS
- Technical knowledge (use of Step7 - TIA Portal, UnityPRO, PL7 pro and Control Expert software)
- Basic knowledge of electrical engineering
Experiences
- Experience: minimum 5 years in an industrial environment
